Brian Gregory Artist | Educator

Brian Gregory is an Irish educator, printmaker, and multidisciplinary artist based in the US. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Printmaking and Contemporary Practice from Limerick School of Art and Design. He also holds a Master of Education in Art and Design with digital media from the University of Limerick. Brian has exhibited throughout Ireland and abroad and was the recipient of the Individual Artist bursary from South County Dublin Council.

Brian's artistic practice further developed during his artist in residency at Mart Studio's Dublin in 2015. Here, amidst a backdrop of creative experimentation and community engagement, he immersed in a world of artistic outreach. Through diverse workshops and discussions, he connected with local audiences ranging from private groups to schools, nurturing a passion for expression and education.

Today, Brian's journey continues to evolve as he intertwines his artistic practice with a profound commitment to education. Drawing upon his extensive experiences, including teacher training at the National College of Art and Design and the University of Limerick, Brian cultivates dynamic learning environments that empower students academically, creatively, and socially.

My educational philosophy and teaching approach center on John Dewy's ideas to emphasize creativity, inquiry, and the connection between artistic expression and everyday experiences. Fostering independence.

"Child immigrants carry with them not just their belongings, but the boundless potential of their dreams. Each journey is a testament to resilience, courage, and the universal longing for a brighter tomorrow."
